I have watched this movie many times, it is one of those ones where you discover something new in it each time you watch it. Watching it in the lecture with the Sustainable Development goals in mind brought new insights to the movie.

The nation of Wakanda is futurist in the way it is run and how it is represented.

when it comes to governance the city is run by a monarchy, the city is held of 18 tribes and any one of their leaders can challenge to be the king or queen of Wakanda. This results in it being a fair ruling and not bias.

The technology used in the film is so futuristic and creative. The technology uses the Vibranium a natural resource in Wakanda. The Vibranium makes Wakanda one of the richest nations.

My personal favorite part of this movie is the equality of gender. Women are just as powerful as men in this movie. They are equal, they have some amount of opportunities and they have the same amount of importance and contribution to the nation.

Women can be the black panther as anyone can challenge. The warriors that protect the nation of Wakanda are full of power full women call the Dora Milaje.

Another example is T'challa's sister called Shuri one of the most intelligent scientists and engineers. Working with Vibranium to create and design the more advanced technology for Wakanda.

This movie breaks the classic film stereotype. It is nice to equal throughout a superhero movie or any movie if that. When watching movies it is human nature to try to relate something in the film to our lives. When watching the film Blackpanther I felt proud to be a woman.
