My favorite toy as a child was the Sylvanian families. I had a huge collection and loved what they did to my imagination. My favorite aspect of my collection was my big house. It was called the Country House and had the iconic red roof. However, I also got told by my mother that my other favorite toy was my hockey stick. I used to sleep with it like it was a teddy bear.

For the design sprint, it started with making assumptions and other research to help sketch appreciate ideas. I all so designed on recreating the Sylvanian Family Country House.

In the design sprint, possible risks are discussed and how to prevent them. One risk I did not anticipate was getting a concussion from hockey I was not aware of how much this was going to set me back. It was a huge bump in the road. As a result of this, time was a huge factor. When ideating sketches I knew that my knowledge of the program Rhino was zero and my time was extremely limited. From this realisation I decided to sketch parts of the house that could be 3D modeled efficiently.

Decided to go with the window and brick background as the brick reminded me of home and is more captivating than the other options.

Going through the options of how the brick and widow could be successful through its composition I created a poster that represents the homeliness of no Sylvanian Families Country Home.
